Some times its creates a difficult situation when we couldn’t under stand how to face the actual query, what tools we should use, or what referrel service is relevant. On this occasion, I want to know is there any kind of documents available where practical situations are discussed related to reference services and uses of reference tools, Variety of Reference queries and how they should tackle, etc. Please let me know also if any short term training progms , workshops or courses offering on the said subject.

Dear librarian, I appreciate your service mind.Like to suggest read the book Reference service by S R Renganathan .It will guide how to face the reference queries.First you should acquaint with your library collection be it print or e-sources.Then near by libraries.whenever attend seminar/conference/workshop have informal chat it will help.Have contact with professors ,academics.the nature of the service may differ from user to user.some maybe meek others may be aggressive, maybe a new user.

Reference service-SRR is available in web
