INFLIBNET is organizing a five days Advanced Training programme on Bibliometrics and Research Output Analysis during 2 - 6 Dec 2024. The programme will provide the participants a sound overview of bibliometric methods, Bibliometric data sources, data processing and performance indicators related to bibliometric analysis and mapping. It will provide awareness about the most commonly used database, how to build-up relevant indicators and how to interpret the data. Special emphasis will be given to indicators used in research evaluation. Theoretically imparted knowledge will be consolidated with demonstration on various tools such as Bibliometrix, Biblioshiny, VOSviewer, etc.

• Mathematical Foundation of Bibliometrics/Scientometrics
• Bibliometrics Tools and Techniques such as Bibliometrix, Biblioshiny, VOSviewer, etc.
• Bibliometric Methods for Subject Delineation
• Measuring Research Impact
• Network Analysis and Visualization
• Open Research Data: Access, API and Integration
•  Advanced Bibliometric Methods for Evaluation, Ranking and Mapping of Research
• Bibliometric Indicators and Ranking of University Research Performance
• Clarivate Analytics’ Web of Science and Elsevier’s Scopus Databases

The lecturers are prominent researchers, scientists/professors in the field of bibliometrics. 

Fee

Rs. 6,000.00 per person without accommodation and

Rs. 10,000.00 with accommodation which is inclusive of GST rates.

It covers the cost of a training programme kit containing training materials and lunch during the training period. The payment should be made through Demand Draft in favour of INFLIBNET Centre payable at Gandhinagar along with filled-in registration form. Fee is non-refundable and non-adjustable. The Centre also accepts payment by NEFT /RTGS for the training. The bank account details will be shared on request.
