Sir,
Sub : NET June 2012- Tactics of failed & Suggestions for improvement-reg
From media reports it is understood that there are lot of complaints against the cut-off marks fixed for UGC NET June 2012 examination, that is “altering” the notified criteria for pass.
In the outset I have to mention that this charge is raised by failed candidates, some media people and some politicians who either do not read the notification or do not understand the text or intentionally manipulating the text of the notification as tactics. In whatever case UGC may ignore the Giebelsian lies or the utterances yielding to which will open the Pandora’s box. The aim of an eligibility exam. is not to choose the mediocres but to select the best. Demand for lowering the cut-off mark is like the demand of those who can not win the 100 m race want to reduce the distance to 90 meters. The unprecedented number of successful candidates definitely substantiate the criteria decided by UGC.
I do appreciate UGC for conducting the examination with full transparency this time. Further UGC needs to be highly praised for conducting NET examination for more than two decades with utmost care in all matters. Because of this diligence UGC was never warranted to cancel even one NET examination over these years. But this is not the case of many university examinations or examinations conducted by various Public service Commissions. I salute You, Sir.
May I suggest few things for improving NET examination.
The amendments shall definitely improve the selection process of teachers and the reputation of UGC
Thrissur Yours faithfully,

Sir,
I am also against ur opinion...sir. If UGC was not confidant about his objective mode or criteria of cut of mark than no need to conduct this exam. and want to say on thing that is NET means National Eligibility Test qualifying exam it is not a for give directly Job after passing this exam u need to fight other test or interview also .
R/ Sir
I agree with your statement, you have put it right. I think UGC should change exam. patter from objective to descriptive.

Dear Mr.SUNNY JOSEPH
I can only say that you observe the earlier results carefully, You definitely find that there were different qualifying criteria in different years.
It will be better if you send your valuable suggestions to ugc rather posting it to this site.
I agree some of your suggestions.
My personal opinion is objective mode is ok but there should be negative marks and question pattern should be like civil service preliminary examination.
This year I passed because of only objective mode, because my handwriting is not good and very slow. Earlier years i could,nt attempt all descriptive questions and failed by some marks in paper III only. So,I was confident this year.
Mr Jomy Jose Yes agree with you
also I support with our all NET affected friends
really from heart you are doing very good effort for our NET affected friends
but I think everyone know some of peoples filled case in the court
as per your information ugc also in coming meeting discuss this issue
so why are we posted this type of discussion here
& waste our valuable time also disturb our others NET preparing friends
now i think Just wait & Watch, than decide what to do?..........ok
Thanks & Regards

For applying UGC NET? JRF ugc has to change the minimum qualification 55% to 60 % since most of the university are in grading system .

Dear Mr. Anoop,
I appreciate you very much on your true comments on some person's mentality, who are feeling a Great Intellectuals and degrading the NOT Qualifiers. They are not realizing that after many attempts, they could qualified the UGC-NET, that too on introduction of OBJECTIVE mode in 3rd paper. This is my last response on this POST.
