thanks for ur reply sir you have any reference regarding nonteaching.

Librarian Post is under Teaching.

Because

1.when we didcuss regarding the pay scale then we find that the pay scale of a Librarian is equvalent to the pay scale of an Assistant Professor.

2. Secondly when we discuss about the roll of library in Education then we find that Library is an essential source of education. When library is known as Information & knowledge Centre then the Librarian is the manager of knowledge & Information.

3.where the teacher have knowledge in a specific Area, there the Knowledge Manager/librarian have all subject Areas.

thank u so much sir.

Library science professionals can make their carrier in both i. e. teaching and non-teaching.

Definitely Teaching staff because in school library Librarian works as a Teacher. He/She gives career guidance to students; organize quiz, competitions, essays, debates, take formal classes, moral lessons, personality development etc. These jobs are not clerical. Friends these jobs are highly technical and skilled as per other teachers and I will say that more than a teacher.

Librarian is the TEACHER of the Teachers.

Librarian post is a Teaching post
