Strong Your Research Methodology, and IT porsion.

Thank you sir.

The change in the pattern of NET exam is complex to understand.
But it is more about how much you know and how precisely you know.
Now a days 1 Question of Net is accompanying 3-4 questions in it, as chronology, series of events, match the pairs types of questions
tests your certainty and confidence about the answers

also aspirants need to take care of all the three papers for high score in exam.
I have observed aspirants giving extreamly low weightage to first paper and when analysis is made
it becomes clear thet though they score well in 2nd and 3rd paper they failed even to get minimum qualifying marks.

I remember when i was preparing for my NET exam, i was going through the previous years question papers. there i come across some question
about peoples and their innovation, just out of curiosity i wrote down the respective year of innovation and arreange them in chronological sequence.
and to my surprise the same question was repeated in the December 2013 UGC-NET for chronological order, and i got 2 marks for that.

These are few of my observations, might be helpful to anybody.

Thank your for valuable response and suggestions with personal example.

hi,

Regarding Preparation aspect, I found Mr. Pranit have already mentioned some points which are very much effective for this kind of exam. candidates should cover the whole basic areas of the topic which he/she chooses to read.  linked areas with the main topic is the another aspect of importance, which may be easily read after making diagrammatic table where relations may shows in hierarchical order.  the application of IT in the areas of Content analysis and and content representation (spcly Indexing & abstracting) should be the signficant areas of reading.

candidates may appear the other competitive exms for match practice specialy for the 1st paper of UGC NET exam.

Its all from my side with my limit.

regards,

Thank you

Dear sir

...for your valuable guidance and motivation. I would like to mention that this time in June 2015 the pattern of questions were changed. They are having flavor of philosophical and completely descriptive. The available resource specially books and online blogs are based on the objectives type question, few sources are there which are following the descriptive trends rest are advocating to the objectives as per latest trends. But this time the questions were based on the comparison but of descriptions not of fixed entities such as year, profounder and head office etc. The trends are changing to descriptive from objective.

Hi Munesh

good a/n as you asked regarding preparation for NET.  You have to do four month preparation to clear CBSE UGC NET for this you have to do following things i.e.

1. Revise all previous NET papers from 2010.

2. Atleast daily two hour practice for Paper I and two hour daily for paper II and III.

3. Try to touch with latest development in the field of LIS.

4. Knowledge of computer is also essential.

5. Practice for timings.

Thank you sir

for your suggestions and key to strategies.

Dear Munesh Sir,

you mentioned that the trends are changing to descriptve from objective.  As the question pattern was fully objective in June 2105, so i could not getting the actual meaning what you want to say.  Pls explain if possible.

regards,

your friend,

Surajit.

Thank you Sir (Sri Suraji)

...the questions which were asked in this exam were purely objectives at visibility side but the possible answers are/were not like to be the responded in a single flow or straight to the point. It's not applicable with the all the questions were asked but few questions were there those were not looking for the specific alike quantitative data but they were more based on comparatives of objectives, visions, statements, and finally overall can be added based on logic kind of arrangements. Actually its my observation I am not much aware about the other professional's perspectives on the same.  I have put this matter here to know the state of mind on the same from our community and Lislinks.com members. I have noted the remarks given by you and by our community members. I am looking for more opinions and remarks.

Thanks...

Dear Munesh Sir,

Now I am getting ur point.  I have to see the June' questions thoroughly now, and then return back to join ur discussion.

Thank you.

Thank you Sir,

Actually, we always need your expert opinion to understand the subject and profession.
