Dear Karthiban

        2. 150

Dear Mr. Rashid Ali,

Thanks a lot for your clarification & support.

Thanks & regards,

H. Karthiban

Atleast five research problems should be solved - per chapter one. Each research solution should be supported by a publication, preferably a journal paper per research solution and each journal publication to have about 60 references.

Dear Sumit,

Thanks a lot for your clarification & support.

Thanks & regards,

Dear Karthiban

My advice is to consult with your guide. You have to proceed according to him.

1. The number of sample depends upon your topic of Ph.D

2. Review of literature should be a minimum of 100.

Thanks & regards

M. Mishra

Dear Mr. Monaj Mishra,

Great information. Thanks a lot for your clarification & support.

Dear H. Karthiban

As Manoj Mishra Sir advised you to contact the Guide/Supervisor is the true and justified way in this regard. Because its all depends up on the nature and scope of research topic/area.

Sample size and data collection methods totally depends up on the nature of topic take for research.

Literature review should be done with the latest publications/literature not very old. If you could cover 2-3 year's publications (if availability is less you can increase the range) then it will be quit easy to formulate your problem for research, because those literature will be covering the literature of past may be in range of 10 years. But better to consult your guide for this issue.

Thank You.

Dear Munesh Kumar,

Thanks a lot for your clarification & support.

Thanks & regards,

H. Karthiban

Dear friend,
Sample size should neither be too small nor vey large. If it is too small, conclusions drawn may not be acceptable. On the other hand, if size is too large, it may become unmanageable. Ordinarily, a sample between 500 to 1000 respondants should be enough.

Dear friend,

Review of relevant literature is undertaken to find the shortcomings of the past works. It is expected that the entire available literature is to be reviewed. As a rough estamate, atleast 100 articles must be available to start with. However, when one starts reviewing, its number will increase.

Dear Mr. Badan Barman,

Thanks a lot for your detailed, informative information & support.

Thanks & regards,

Dear Karthiban

You have seen the answers of various experts. My advice is you please see the PhD thesis related to your topic which may be available with your Guide or in the University Library. Accordingly, you decide statement of problem and scope of your thesis. Literature survey may cover at least 300-350 articles of journals. Sample depends upon the size of population and design of survey questionnaire, etc. Discuss in detail with your Guide and some experts around you.
