Dear Sri Kalyan Sunder Samanta,

Thanks for your post.

I just like to add that besides UGC, many other organizations also provide funds like ICSSR, ICMR, CSIR, INSA, DST etc. I myself availed some of them. However, the topics should be relevant to their subjects.

Apart from the Indian organizations, International Organizations like IDRC, WHO, UNDP etc. As I understand, their funding is not restricted to persons outside their organization. In fact my first travel abroad was funded by IDRC.

Sincerely,

Siddhartha S. Ray, Calcutta

Dear Mr. Siddhartha Shankar Ray

I am really happy to know that different organizations in our country or in International scenario which you mentioned, it was not in my conscience, so really thank you too for providing this. The Travel grant program is not a new scheme provided by UGC but comes with a modified way.

Dear Kalyan Sundar Samanta,

Thanks for the Post. Though it's not a new scheme when it shared with others it become more valuable.
