Dear Sri Brahmpal Singh,
As I understand there are two courses in Medical Librarianship conducted by National Medical Library (DGHS) & NIH&FW. They were started since 1980's however, I have no idea whether the NML course (which was funded by WHO) is still continuing. The National Documentation Centre at NIH&FW also conducted such course.
Such specialized courses are extremely helpful as a sort of continuing Education Programme. However, none of the above courses I mentioned above were as wide as the one on Law Librarianship referred to here.
