i think the same
code 87 is for Computer Science. And very few people can score marks above 60% in computer science. This sub is not as easy as management, Sociology, Library Science. I think new criteria is applied for this subject so that sufficient number of candidates could be qualified.
Ye to UGC ka samuhik bahiskar karna chahiye ye kaisi body yaha kya kam ho raha hai kya sab chor, corrupt hi hai kya itna paisa lekar bhi sahi result nahi de pa rahi hai .Ye log UGC committee, board faltu hai sab decision lete hai koi kam nahi karta hai kaun kaun kitna number paya hai use NET qualify to kar dena chahiye jo minimum eligbility criteria pass karta hai apni bat ko rakhne ke liye fir se vo ek aggregate criteria bana dali to minimum criteria ka kya matlab hai.mai to bolta hu bhai NET ka exam dena hi band karo school me job karo NET ki jarurat hi nahi hai .
thank u for sharing this information . but we are helpless . we have no money no power

Dear Friends, keeping aside the controversies surrounding the cut-off marks in the supplementary result, I open the floor for a debate on the principle of equity followed in selecting candidates for lectureship. The question is: "Is it fair to have category-wise cut-off marks for deciding eligibility for lectureship?" My take is No. Why? My logic is the following: When the cut-off mark for general category is 65% and for reserved category is 50% (for example), then what it means is that a candidate from reserved category with 50% mark is competent enough to teach in a particular class but a student (from general category) with at least 65%marks will be that much competent to teach in that class! I feel its unfair. In any qualifying examination (be it school boards) the minimum pass percentage (30%!) is same for everyone irrespective of reservation categories. And there is a logic behind this. So, in my view (personal), UGC should define an uniform cut-off mark irrespective reservation categories. In any case, seats are reserved in the teaching places for reserved categories.
Second, I also feel that the cut-off marks should be different for each subject depending upon the difficulty of each subject and the number of candidates applied etc. If necessary, UGC can move into a percentile based system.
Your views?
Warm regards,
Pradhan
