Minimum Qualifications & Experience:
1. Master's degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation Science with first class.
2. At least 15 years of experience as a Librarian/Chief Librarian in a University Library or in a Research Library or in a renowned B-School Library.
3. Evidence of innovative library services, including the integration of ICT in a library.
4. A Ph.D. in Library and Information Science will be an added advantage.
5. Excellent spoken and written communication.

Job Responsibilities:
1. Substantial experience in a broad spectrum of library operations, including E-Resource management, research support services, scholarly communication, library instruction, digital transformation of library operations & practices.
2. Evidence of innovative library services, including integration of ICT in a Library.
3. Evidence of integration of library resources & services in teaching, learning and research.
4. Extensive knowledge of contemporary digital library practices, trends & emerging technologies.
5. Knowledge of print & digital repositories & archives.
6. Knowledge of Open Science & Open Access.
7. Scholarly publications in journals of repute.
8. Leadership & management skills to build & foster close relationship with all stake holders.
9. Affiliation with professional bodies, library consortia & networks, exposure to global library practices.
