Dear Dr. Srivastava,
Thank you so very much.
I can not express how emotional I have become to communicate with a person from my very very dear Madhupur!! where I spent my childhood days, my first schooling at "Vidyashram" a Bengali School. I have left so many of my friends and acquaintances; Our ancestral house "NILALAYA" at "PatharChapty" (just beside the Anchi Devi Girls' School & opposite Asha kutir) , the saintly Kabir Maulvi Sir of Edward George High School..... so many fond memories!!
I am sorry, I was swayed with emotion & sentiment. I am particularly interested about two individuals; one is Mr. Ashok Sinha, (VOMBOL DA) Son of (Late) Raja Ram Sinha (he worked in the Railways) living at 1, Pathar Chapty. Sri Sinha used to work in a Pharma Company in the early Eightees and the second is Sri Sekhar Dey, son of (Late) Dr. M.N. Dey. Dr. Dey was an Homeopathic Doctor and had his chamber at the Madhupur Market. opposite a Stationary shop run by two brothers (I have forgotten their names; ) As I know Shankar Dey works at State Bank of India (my information is that of early 80s)
Since Madhupur is not a big city (It was not as I had seen it last in 1980), is it possible to inquire about those two persons, their address, Phone No. E-mail Whatever? (just ask them that a person, named Siddhartha claiming to be a resident of Nilalaya beside Anchi Devi Girls' School opposite Asha-Kutir of Pathar Chapty wants to contact them.)
With very best wishes,
Siddhartha S. Ray, Calcutta
