We professional know our dignity & respect, rights & quality within us. Librarians are not alone stupid; they are made several time stupid by their disciplinary committee. He/She alone can’t do any things without appeal granted. So individually professional is improving their quality day by day but fail to improve profession.
Very interesting topic...I agree with Dr.Pachauri..Librarian shoul have the power of gaining khowledge.,reading and thinking skills,good oral and written communications,love for library science,respect to the profession,intest in using latest technology in LIS..Always thinking for new creativity and its application to LIS..All LIS professional should consider himself as King of Data,Information and khowledge..
