PGLAN is very good coures for the professionals, especially interested in automation and related topics.It consists of practical training also  equiped a person to do automation in a library.If you are a working professional it is very good option.

PGDLAN is a comprehensive study about library automation and networking which are the important component of today's Library proceedings. here I am giving you information regarding the project work of which is of 100 marks. First read the project guide thoroughly.

1. The project must be related about the computer and ICT applications in libraries like online retreival system, designing and development of a library management system.

2. The synopsis must be prepered first according to the specification given in the project guide supplied with the course material and selection of a guide with all the formalities and get approved from the IGNOU PGDLAN programme coordinator Prof. Jaideep Sharma by sending print as well as mail.

3. After the synopsis is approved, the project must be completed with in the minimum time and submit to the study center. the viva will be arranged by them.
