what is the difference between  ‘Information Source’ and ‘Information Resource

A source is a person, thing, or activity from which intelligence information is obtained. Whereas, a resource is an available supply that can be drawn on when needed

pretty much a resource is where you look to find something, and then when you found that something, WHERE you found it becomes the source.
