The www.oajse.com is the Website of Central Library, KKHSOU.
In that website we used Web 2.0 (RSS Feed, Twitter, Facebook) as well as Google Drive. By going through the website you can have an idea how web 2.0 can be used in the library environment.

The web made tremendous impact on Society and People.

The 1st Generation web is a Static Web.

The 2nd Generation web is called more interactive people can participate, debate, exchange ideas between and among them.

The concept of Web 2.0 is a social networking tools facilitate put the content on to the web in the form of blogs, vikis, instant messages, flickr, youtube and many more.

Blog
It is a personal diary, to put the peoples opinion any of the topic interest. On other side people can give a feed back. (General)

Each and every department can create a blog and interact among them. (Library)

Wiki
online interactive encyclopedia any one can add the content or their experiences. (General)
Any one can add and any one can edit the information.(Library)

YouTube
to upload videos(General)
Video Lectures of library and Experts (Library)

Flicker
It facilitate to upload photos of users (General)
Photos of Library Activities (Library)

Instant Message
Live Discussions between the people in real time (General)
Ask Librarian (Library)
