As per my view the following things are good and bad about LIS links 

Good :- 1) Indias first social networking site for LIS 

2) Main Room Chating facility (for discussion) 

3) Message posted by member- it is quikly approved 

4) You can give your opinion on every post , it will quikly disply 

5) You will see no of online members are available 

6) Every members profile you can check 

7) Search facility is good (you can get back discussion /post ) 

8) Message facility to friends 

9) No of groups avaible with web links 

10) Todays birthday facility 

11) Job posting 

12) Latest activity 

13) Uploading Photograph 

14) Uploading Video

 and much more things are here it is good . 

Bad :- 

1) More users are having duplicate /double /triple Id 

2) More advertisement  ( Not relating to LIS) 

3) Naked photograph of members 

4) Number of users not relating to LIS profession , they are here only to chat femal 

 5) Some members here only to put there product advertise. 

We know all Dr. Badan Barman sir gives great effort to make this site active.  i am very much thankful to Dr. Badan Sir.

Actually professional sharing and problem solving of LIS professions  is the moto of LIS LInk and which will clear problem and confusion related to library science. It helps the members to share kowledge.

Professionalism in Library Science can be known and seen  in LIS in both positive and negative ways in positive side sharing updating and gaining  knowledge and developments in our field in negative ways utter waste of time in chating irrelevant to the profession

1) More users are having duplicate /double /triple Id: I think we should not have any problem with duplicate profiles.

2) More advertisement  (Not relating to LIS): We can control the ads. Thanks for giving the feedback. We will see what else can be done here.

3) Naked photograph of members: They are suspended very quickly, Usually within 3-4 hours of posting the photographs.

4) Number of users not relating to LIS profession , they are here only to chat femal: Yes, there are few people who are not related to the profession, but majority of them are dealing with books, library related furniture, software and such others. If any female has any problem with anyone then they can directly report the problem by using the feedback option. Usually, action on feedback are being taken within an hour.

5) Some members here only to put there product advertise. : They got suspended very quickly.

So I will thanks to Dr. Badan Barman sir gives great effort to make this site active.  

      Bad things is so many members wrong use to this site like.. (Advertisement, Nacked Photos, Bad word using in Chatting for female)

According to me Lis Link a tremendous platform for Lis Professionals  for sharing their knowledge, brushing their awareness,

Bad thing is only irrelevant chatting, not except-able photos.

1. The LIS Links site is a unique one of their nature. There is no option and parallel of this site.

2. It is a site not only for professional discussions, creating awareness among potential professionals but also for job alert.

I think LisLink is one of the best platform for all of LIS Professionals, it provides lots of interaction with same field professionals to improve the knowledge about what's new trends going on in this profession and as well as solve the Technical and Theoritical problem of professionals collectively.

Now  a days some members of the LisLink doing some unprofessional discussion and giving useless comments that need to checked and urgently required to stop doing this.

Other wise it is one of the best professionals networking platform for all the users and for this we are very thakful to Mr. Badan Barman.

Thanks alot for this great contribution for all the LIS professionals.

Thanks for this valuable issues raised by Kankana madame.

All the services is being provided is very very good. This is the only portal where we can share our views and facts about our profession. We are facing here information explosion non information  also.Sometimes some discussion which creates conflict among the different communities.

You can enhance the service by provide these following information.

1)Mobile authentication for members. It will control the fake IDs.

2)No information should be kept for private use.

3)Highly valued members should try to develop the other members through their valued discussion.Not only by forum but through other separate portal also. Because forum get backdated after introducing new forum and hardly find the valuable discussed forum after a few days.

4)A separate page for interview experience  and the  question and answer discussed.Do,s and Don,ts in the interview boards etc. 

5) Discussion about recent trend and development in LIS field.

6)New topic for new LIS scholars.

All this will enhance the service and acceptability of the SITE.

...Here, very good topics are raised and discussed by different scholars and  professionals, and by Barman Sir self, so need not to raise the same matter again, because it is enough for feedback point of views. I would like to say only one statement in the favour of postive points of lislinks.com 

 

Lislinks: all types of solution one can find here easily.

One can find all type of information related to job, daily activities in lis field,  problems solution, question of their mind, and well connection with professionals, friends, guidelines, Margdarshan etc. 

 

These are all enough for a professional.

 

There is no any negative points form my side for lislinks.com, but I have some points which belongs to modification part of lislinks post, comments, and profile and other parts, like discussions posts etc and some request to users of this website.

 

• Please do not post anti social item here.
• Maintain the higher status of our field.
• Give the full information of Jobs with authority details.
• Take part in conversation with full enthusiasm till the final and give your clear cut statements on any particular topic, may take the help of example if it is possible to make your statement clear understandable for readers.
• Barman Sir, some time forum end successfully with exact answers and points, but some time it is ends or stop at middle or without exact solutions, so I request to you and other senior fellows teachers are presents here, please part in same conversation and give it to final.
•  Website is created  very good, all logical steps are followed very nicely, colors are very charming,  but menu buttons are white colored, if it is possible, please changed with different color, background color is good that is 'sky blue' need not changed it.
• Please give advertisement in right side on web page, left side advertisement/pictures/and ads, disturb in reading the content. 
• Rest all are very nice…

I would like say one more line, “Mujhe sabsi achchhi website lagti hai, lis field ki jitne v web forums  me ye sabsi achchhi hai. Barman Sir ko bahut bahut Sukriya, hame bolne ke liye platform banayae....& Specially thanks to Ma’am for raising this forum: say about  positive and negatives of Lislinks .
