I congratulate Dr. Chandrashekara M on assuming the post of Chairman, DLIS, University of Mysore.  Sir, we earnestly hope that the profession will see new light and you will steer the Department to prodigious heights under your stewardship.  May the Almighty bestow upon you the necessary strength and courage to discharge your duties in the best interest of the profession.
