Problems in Membership Card Generation in SOUL 2.0 Library Management Software


To generate membership card, I follow the following routes
1. Administration -> System Settings -> Image Modification: Then I clicked on โ€œSelect Imageโ€ and try to upload the logo (emblem) of our university. But I am directed to an error message. It says โ€œSelected file should be less then 7 kbโ€.


Problem 1: I donโ€™t think an image would be less than 7kb.
Problem 2: In the error message โ€œSelected file should be less then 7 kbโ€ the word โ€œthenโ€ should be โ€œthanโ€.
Solution: I select โ€œOptimize for SQL 2005โ€ button and uploaded my 274kb image successfully.

2. Administration -> Circulation Master -> Customize MemberCard: Here I have done the following. It was a successful job.


3. Circulation -> Membership -> Member Card: Here, I faced two major problem.
Problem 1: The institute logo overrides the name of the institute.
Problem 2: The text in the DOB is slightly larger than the other text in the card.

Dear Badan da, U can communicate this problem to Inflibnet centre.

They will rectify & upload the update
