Dear Friends

The dspace application was running in a computer which dont have sufficient space to upload data further, hence I need to take back up from the computer and upload it to the new system.

How to restore data backup from the old computer.

What is the operating system dspace is running on ?

Windows xp

take the backup of following directories from the old PC and copy to the new system

assetstore
uploads

Also what database you are using (PostgreSQL/Oracle)

database is PostgreSQL.

Sir, i cant understand. Is it the "assetstore" is the backup of dspace in old pc?

Dear sir,

I referred the link detail which you have sent and understand that we can reduce our dspace data storage.

But, my purpose is the existing PC's working condition status is becoming poor.  so i need move to new pc. The installation process all are completed and have to take restore and upload to newly installed PC.

So, shall i have your kind help in this regard?
