CIP (Cataloguing In Publication) in Indian publication?

Dear Professionals,

Is there any mandatory of CIP in Indian publication? If not, then what if ILA push for CIP in Indian Publication, What do you say?

that is why, i think ILA should work on this issue..... and if Colon Classification number is use, this will be one way we can give tribute to Dr. S. R. Ranganathan works
