Advertisement for the post of Library Assistant at Alliance University, Bengaluru

Alliance University invites applications from well-qualified and experienced persons for the following post:

Post: Library Assistant
No. of Vacancies: 4 (Four)
Salary: as per the qualification and experience
Age Limit: 28 years, Age relaxable in case of highly deserving candidates.

Qualification and Experience:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Library Science / Information Science or an equivalent professional degree with at least 55% of the marks
• Knowledge of computers, IT Applications in Libraries, Library Management systems, Knowledge of recent trends and technologies in Library and Information Services.
• Good written and oral communication skills in English.
• Minimum 2-3 years of work experience in leading national-level research and academic institute or university.

The selected candidates will work from Monday-Saturday and be ready to work in different shifts, weekends, and holidays on a rotation basis.

Selection Process: Selection of candidates will be based on their consistent good academic record, performance in the written test and personal interview.
