The ancient language Sanskrit states that Ayurveda is a science, which gives the absolute comprehension for long life. The Sanskrit utterance Ayurveda is a divine synthesis of two words ‘Ayur’ meaning prolonged existence, or longevity, and the word ‘Veda’ meaning a base with a sound scientific knowledge. In Hindu Mythology the foundation of ayurvedic medicine is accredited to the physician of the divinity, Dhanvantari. The Hindu as well as Buddhism is the religion of significance that has inspired many core concept of Ayurveda.
