NET is a parameter not qualification, so for dedicated professionalism we have to qualify the parameter.
Only experience can not be a eligibility. Person with 10+2 can also handle the library if he/she has experience. We can't say that we have experience, and can handle the work of Deputy commissioner. One requires to pass IAS. Similarly the university level posts.
Ok let us assume and agree what you said but u have not understood my question, my question is people who have passed net 90% of them does not possess experience in handling the library at that level of Assistant Librarian post, do they deserve to be at that post? and people with so much of experience but are not able to pass NET due to uncertain curcumstances and have established libraries successully have to succumb to work forcibly under a non experience Assistant Librarain. IS IT JUSTIFIED???
qualifying NET is based on{{{{{cramming}}}}}}}}. so its not necessary that he/she handle library. here so

should be examined. so not deserve 90%. but because NET is parameter. so fair selection should be done by panel. corruption in India is main problem. so overcome these problem only two things here {{{{ do or die }}}}.

In my view there no question raises of in-justice if you are requested to clear NET and apply for AL post in the University. Though you are experienced in other kind of libraries you need to get trained to handle the in-house activities of the University libraries. NET is an eligibility criteria you have to clear. otherwise with experience you can get very good jobs in corporate sector with higher pay
There is a some parameter for selection of the any post. UGC -NET is the parameter to get the job.so instead of thinking of why this injustice? within that time we can put effort and pass right

I think Assistant Librarian post is equivalent to Assistant Professor, thats why qualifications become equivalent...... experience is not a matter for the selection of AL, if you having the prescribed qualification then you will get advantage for your experience....

you are exactly right whatever may be the experience but UGC has some parameters to selection of assistant librarian or a assistant professor. so instead of the discussion we have to concentrate on how to pass the exam
