What is the age criteria for working women according to rules

I want to know what is the age criteria for working women in the same field not on the same post . Most of the advt. I read not exceed from the particular age. Shall I applied for the same? If the age is over, My ย last job (if the job is in the private sector) counted. What I have to do please suggest.
