Dear Sidharth,

We had UGC visit in our university in March 2017. UGC have their own format for University.Your university might get that format. Part IV (f) and Part XI is related to the library.

Under this item the Commission expects that each

University should have a well stacked and

comprehensive, automated digitized Central Library. As

such, efforts may be made by the University to not only

enrich the Central Library, but also to make it fully

computerized. The amount upto 10% of the grant

allocated under this item is fo

r providing stacking facilities

including furnitures, equipment, computerization and

automation in the Library.

You should keep ready to your accession register, subscription order to journals, electronic resources. All bills and other orders should be present in your file. Title list also be ready. Branch wise print journals list. Digital Library. Library rules on board.
