Solapur university does not have Library & Information Science Department & permanent Librarian for University Library.

Some Professor from Chemistry Dept heading the Library & 2 Library Assistants running the Library.

first Thanks for your valuable information 

your mentioned information regarding solapur university deptt. and university librarian etc.  are 100% correct

but madam for your kind information solapur university gets Ph. D admission in our Library & Information Science subject 

I think every year two vacancies are vacant for our subject

but now i can't say this year

Can you pls provide the list of guides in Solapur University? & also if possible share the list of students enrolled for Ph.D. in LIS for last 2 years. 

I would like to contact them for information.

I want to Know, when their is No Dept of LIS & full time Librarian/s for the University Library, who will guide the students?

Also want to know where they will conduct the Course Work? When their is no presence of Department of LIS.

Dear Sir,

Thanks for the list, can I know where they will conduct the course work (which is mandatory nowadays).

As Dr. Jange & Dr. Kamble are from Gulbarga University, will the coursework will be conducted in Gulbarga or in Solapur.
