A ย sampling methodย of gathering representative dataย from a group.ย A quota sample a type ofย nonprobabilityย sampleย ย in which the researcher selects people according to some fixed quota. That is, units are selected into a sample on the basis of pre-specified characteristics so that the total sample has the same distribution of characteristics assumed to exist in the population being studied

In quota sampling, the researcher aims to represent the major characteristics of the population by sampling a proportional amount of each.ย ย

As opposed toย random sampling, quota sampling requires that representativeย individualsย are chosen out of a specific subgroup. For example, a researcher might askย for a sampleย of 100 females, or 100 individuals between the ages of 20-30.

Thank you sir for your answer. still i cant understand the the difference the stratified random sampling and quota sampling.
