NET Results and its Future Impact
First of all congratulations to all the NET qualified candidates.
Well done.
If I am not wrong, 1027 candidates have been qualified for NET this time in Library and Information Science.ย Guru Govind Singh Indraprasthaย University, New Delhi is in the top of the list with 103 candidates, University of Calcutta is 2nd in the list with 88 candidates and University of Pune is in 3rd rank with 57 candidates, and so on.ย
Following will be positive impacts:
1. There will be sufficient number of candidates for the posts (UGC) lying vacant in different organisations.
2. Candidates who have been in lower grade posts can jump to the higher level in the same institution or move to other institutions in higher posts.ย
3. Candidates who had been trying to qualify for NET, and passed this time they are nowย headacheย free.
4. Candidates have been nationallyย recognizedย for their potentialities.
Following will be Negative impacts:
1. For a single post there will be lots of competitors.
2. It could not be understood from the last NET, how efficiently the candidates could write the answers due to the new Objective type QPaper. Communication (spoken as well as written) skill is very important to become an Assistant Professor in any university or other posts of the same status.
3. Qualified candidates will have to check for the jobs in their places only. As lots of NET qualified local candidates will be there in their regions.ย

Badan Da........ again you have not count the up-coming Ph.D holders from some universities which are awarding Ph.D within Two Years for a huge amount of money. In Guwahati itself a good number of vendors are offering Ph.D and M.Phil degree from some universities.................Every day if you see in The Assam Tribune 2nd page their adv. are coming......... lots of college teachers and students are also going for that as a easy way to get the Ph.D award and a alternate way of NET. I don't know where our education system is going on.
