Librarian at Navodaya Vidyalaya and IGNOU Student

Greetings to all,
Can anyone tell me that BLS (Bachler degree in Library Science) from IGNOU can apply for the post of Librarian in Navodaya Vidyalaya or not? Because it is mentioned in the advertisement that degree from Distance/ Correspondence mode is not eligible. Kindly reply.

First of all read theย  complete notification line by line . In the whlow notification novadaya not mentioned that correspondence / distance mode degrees are not eligible in this recruitment . So please don't misguide others . post comments only when you are sure about it.ย

Yes you can apply as per require qualification which has been given below by Navodya Vidyalaya

Universityโ€™s degree in Library Science

from a recognised institution OR
Graduation with One-year Diploma in
Library Science from a recognised
Institution
2. Working knowledge of English and Hindi
or other Regional Language

Primarily, the distance mode courses are meant for In-Service candidates.
