thanks to all..in the end of my search I find IGNOU is the best option to do mphil through distance education..bt I want to.ask dt it will be valid or not?

IGNOU does not have Mphil Programme, It has Mphl cum Phd Integrated Prog. You can  get the admission in Phd through enterance test,  there are some procedure, which is available at IGNOU website. Now Form will be open in the month of Jan 2011 for July 2012 session, Enterance will be held sometime in Mid of May 2012. 

Further, If you are talking about Its validity, let me tell you that:

1. IGNOU is providing DEC (Distance Education Council) certificate to all Distance learning institute and university in India. In fact, If any reputed conventional university like Delhi University, Panjab University would like to introduce some correspondence course, they have to get the DEC certificate from IGNOU;

 

2. IGNOU was established in 1985 under Parliament Act and it is a Central University;

 

3. Earlier, when UGC banned on Distance Mphil Progs, IGNOU was exempted for the same.

thank you sir..and yes dt was a mistake..i checked again..u r absolutely right..ignou provides phd programme not mphil..thanks a lot..sir, i want to confirm dt phd from ignou is valid ?
