LIS Academy Awards 2021: Congratulations to the Winners
LIS Academy is a Public Charitable Trust registered for supporting Libraries with Technology and Librarians with Technological Skills. The Academy has been serving the profession of Library and Information Science for the last five years. Every year the Academy organizes a National Conference in different parts of the Country. The present Conference, LISACON-2021 is scheduled to be held at Belagavi in collaboration with Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi, from 6th to 8th January 2022. The Inaugural Function of the conference is scheduled on 6th January at 4.00 pm.
The Academy has practiced recognizing the persons of repute who have contributed to society and award them under the following categories: The search committee appointed by The Governing Council of LIS Academy has recommended the following names for the LISA Awards 2021. The Governing Council is pleased to announce the Awards for the year 2021 as Under:
Lifetime Achievement Award for Senior most LIS Professional
Lifetime Achievement Award for one Senior Educationist
LIS Leadership Award to one of the LIS Professionals with extraordinary Leadership Qualities
LIS Academy Fellowship Award for LIS professionals who have outstanding contributions to the LIS profession and have promising carrier growth.
