KVS Interview Questions held on 22nd February, 2019 at Delhi

Following questions were asked to me in KVS Interview at board no. 1 at morning slot 10.30.

1) What is your present job responsibility in your organisation?

2) In Kolkata how many libraries you have visited so far?

3) Have you ever visited British Council library? What are the purposes behind your used to visit the same?

4) Who is the in-charge in British Council Library in Kolkata?

4) Do you have any concept about green Library?

5) What is classification?

6) What is enumerative classification? how to syntheses the same?

7) Who is the director of National Library presently? ( I told Dr. Arun Kr. Chakraborty but they did not agree with me)

8) You are working in special library but you have to work in school library how to manage the students in school?

So and so forth other questions are also asked to me from my bio-data related to education etc.

They are really good interviewer as per my perception. It is not that I have done excellent but I try to communicate in every way to present my knowledge.

I am giving thanks to all of them who earlier shared their valuable experiences about KVS interview.

Their discussions on forum helped me a lot to gain knowledge about the same.

Dear Sumit,

It is ok. No problem.

Thanks.

Yes ,It is confirmed  Dr. Arun Kr. Chakraborty is not in  position of Director General , National Library

Dr Arun kr chakborty is a director general of RRRLF. Present president of ILA is sabahat husain

Dear Friends,

It is not true that the panel was convinced by the answer and affirmed that or the panel did not agree with the words or statements(response). Sometimes Board/Panel checks the authenticity of confidence of the candidate and gives a buffer time to be on their answers or to change(in case of lack of proper confidence or knowledge). But Panel assigns marks based on the presentation skills, words, and gestures. If someone answers all the questions correctly with a bad gesture, I can tell that fellow will not get any mark despite being right. Whereas a polite denial sometimes acquires very good marks.

As per my knowledge, In interviews, a concrete question(Like the name of RRRLF Director and similar to this question.) doesn't carry any marks neither cut/reduce any mark if not answered.

In interviews, what essential is, to be what you are in real life, what are the approaches you follow in dealing with personal and professional issues and how much you are helpful with your behaviours and knowledge to the organisation.

I have not attended many interviews(only 03). But, I have qualified all, and everywhere the selection was limited to 01. I found the board(s) was/were very much keen to know the candidates' cardinal side(the real face) rather the gained knowledge. No doubt, everyone responds well, but always one should deliver the answers in rhythms with good vocabularies.

Thanks.

Munesh Kumar

Dear Munesh Ji,

It is indeed a good & healthy discussions  that you focused on the pros and cons of the gestures, attitude and above all  presention throughout the  entire interview process  that's marks a lot for choosing the right candidate. But sometimes nervousnes, worriedness may effects a lot for deserving candidates and for that they are also eliminated from the process. So consistently do good and  well is the ultimate way of success.

With regards,

Sumit Chakraborty.

Dear Sumit Ji

But sometimes nervousnes, worriedness may effects a lot for deserving candidates and for that they are also eliminated from the process

In this case what to do? I mean being a candidate with above attributes what do you expect from the panel? What is the meaning of a deserving candidate?

Thank you.

Kv result came

By gods blessings
