Introducing for the first time in Koha- Gate register for Users' Check-in & Checkout

About the Register

This is a Koha plugin developed in Perl language. It is introduced for the first time in Koha by our Company. It is an additional program incorporated into the OPAC.

How it works

When a user enters the library, his card number (along with a bookย barcode) is entered into it. If the card number is correct at the time of entry, the Koha software displays the student data/image. And the entry of the user is recorded in the software. When leaving the library, the same procedure is followed.

  • Real-time statistics of users in the library.
  • Statistics of the users' visits to the library during a particular period of time.
  • Statistics of books carried in and out of the library by the users.
  • Cross-checking the books issued to users at the entrance as they leave the library.
