Be clear what u hve to do and select an area where u wish to contribute. The currency of the area , do somethin better thany any one in contemporery , with clear message of out come of your work. regarding title see let it be little catchy and let every body appreciate ur contribution to the profession

Dear Mr. Kumar...
The title selection is very difficult becouse it requres the broad thinking about the problem statement.
First of all you must be very clear about the what you want or in which topic u r most interested.
than you have to find out the earlrier studies on the topic.
once u r noted about the study.

Than the role of your guide will start.
With the consent of your guide you can select a topic finally.
