Library plays a very important & crucial role towards the academic and professional development of a faculty member. In all good academic higher learning institutions, one of the important jobs of the librarians and other library staff is to provide teachers with research inputs of various kinds that are imperative for the growth of the teacher in terms teaching and / or research needs. Without a sound library support, a teacher cannot be what he / she ought to be.

In the above background, it is necessary that we appreciate the good work done by library staff. Therefore, on teachersโ day from this onwards, HEF shall felicitateย one good librarianย from among the group / outsideย forย his / her outstanding contributionย to academic pursuit.
