Dr. S.N Singh(Sr Library and Information Officer) National Institute of Virology (ICMR)

Dear LIS Professionals,

I am happy to announce that Sr. Library and Information Officer of Pune based National Institute of Virology (ICMR), Dr. Surya Nath Singh is selected for Dr. SM Ganguly IASLIC Librarian of the Year Award-2010 for his notable achievements and out standing contribution in the field of Library in Information Science. Award was announced during IASLIC National Conference-2011at University of Kashmir, Srinagar (J & K) on 12th October, 2011. The award will be presented to him on the eve of XXIV All India Conference -2012, to be held at Pondicherry.  During 2010 he has also received  Lifetime Achievement Award-1 of Pustakalaya Parishad, Jodhpur.
