I have to audit a school Library please suggest the points to be included in the process.

                            For audit they want reports on following:-

  1. INFRASTRUCTURE OF THE LIBRARY                                                             
  2. FURNITURE , BOOK CASES                                                                                
  3.  NO. OF BOOKS IN THE LIBRARY-                                            
  4.  SYSTEM OF ACCESSIONING & SYSTEM OF ISSUING THE BOOKS           
  5.  LIST OF CLASS LIBRARY BOOKS-                                        
  6.  MINUTES OF THE MEETINGS-                            
  7.  ANNUAL STOCK TAKING Report                                                                                               
  8.  SPECIAL EFFORTS TO INCULCATE READING HABIT AMONG STUDENTS
  9.  UPGRADATION , IF ANY

Dear Madam,

...It is all about your activities and tasks done in library. If you have done anything in your library, for any purpose, you have to provide state of art on that activity. It may be related to books; journals, services, automation, manpower, etc. 

All the above answers are very much informative and closed to real auditor's requirement in case of audit. All these points may, fulfill your information need and purpose, but some might not be there, which you are doing in your library specially. Hence, for that you, be ready with strong justifications, and updated reports/files with proper reference number, etc.
