I also dont understand.
all member of this plateform are the professionals, they qualified bachelor and master degrees, as well as they are working in good  Acedmic  and professional  institutions then they don't understand that what they fill in their profile.

Dear Chanchal, before blaming all LIS Professional for that kindly check your own profile, you also add your name in place of PHD guide.

Second thing there is a problem in LIS LINKS page that whenever you blank your PHD guide name, the LIS LINKS get your name  by default.

So please stop blaming.

With Best Wishes

I dont think we have any system problem. If you left the answer of any question as blank, the question itself will disappear from your profile page. Please check yourself over http://lislinks.com/profiles/settings/editProfileInfo. If you find any problem then report it to me immediately over my profile page so that it can be corrected.

Dear Sir, U are right but problem is that  when we left mandatory field, the site take name of the LIS LINKS member by default.

Ok, now it is corrected. Thanks for reporting.

Please note that the LIS Links is a very large site and I frequently update it to go with the time. Unless people like you report the problems it will not be possible for me to keep an eye on everything. :-)

I agree with syed sir opinion. LIS LINKS defaulty  taking our name in PHD guide Name field.

It is not members mistake .

why this thing happened .......i hadnt write my name there..

if it take by default then...stop it....i want  to ask maintener of this site that why this thinkg happened ?

No. It is not taken by default. It is you to edit the page. You can edit the page over: http://lislinks.com/profiles/settings/editProfileInfo

yes sir we can edit, but when I noticed my name in the field of PHD guide name I tried to delete and save but it showing  "Please enter something for: Name of the Ph.D. Guide"  as mandatory field. but im shore i did not enter my name in that field.

Thank you.

Thanks. Ya, the question was made mandatory by mistake. Now, it is corrected. Now you can left it blank.
