About the College
Malankara Catholic College is established by the Diocese of Marthandam in 1998 with the approval of the Govt. of Tamilnadu and the affiliation of Manonmaniam Sundaranar University Tirunelveli. The College was born out of the educational Vision of the most Rev.Lawrence Mar Ephraem the first Bishop of the Malankara Catholic Diocese of Marthandam. The College stands as a landmark in the field of higher education with the dynamic Chairman and Manager, His Excellency Most Rev.Dr.Vincent Mar Paulos, the Bishop of Marthandam Diocese, an eminent Correspondent /Secretary Rev.Fr.Aruldas and an Experienced Principal Dr.J.Thampi Thanka Kumaran, M.Sc (IITM), Ph.D.The College offers 14 UG Courses,9 PG Courses, and Research in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Commerce, and English.
Now Malankara Catholic College Library & HRD jointly organize a National Level Seminar under the Title of “Emerging Trends and Techniques in Libraries: Sustainable Development Goals “in 2023 on March 11th.
